The Final (?) Program

Folks, the final version of the Conflux 12 program (barring minor corrections and last-minute crises) is now up over at the Program page. And the convention starts in just four days! Get your plans together, people – we’ll see you at the Novotel on Friday!

Progress Report 1

At last, having overcome ordeals as indescribable as they are lamentable, the first Conflux 12 Progress Report is now available.

Past and current Conflux members should already have received a copy via email. If you think you should have and didn’t, please let us know at confluxchair@gmail.com

Conflux 12 runs from September 30 to October 3 2016.

#Conflux9 Dealers Room opens for business

As you can see from the pictures, spec fiction fans of all ages are keen to snap up a new read.

Dealers are: Storm Glass Books (Conflux 9 Bookseller), Andromeda Spaceways Inflight Magazine, Australian Romance Readers Association, The Canberra Speculative Fiction Guild, Celestial Cobbler, Creative Corsetry, Fablecroft Publishing and Twelfth Planet Press.

Join them at the Con. Opening hours are:

Thursday (today): 1-5.30pm

Friday: 9am-6pm

Saturday: 9am-6pm

Sunday: 9am-3.30pm

Conflux 9 is underway!

We are underway with Conflux 9, Australia’s national speculative fiction convention for 2013.

Registrations are streaming in, being managed with aplomb, as always, by Karen Herkes and her crew (Tara and Maddi).

Workshops are underway on Level 1 at Rydges Capital Hill and we are gearing up for the Con’s first social event, the Steampunk High Tea, at 3pm in the Atrium.
