Tickets are $50, and the banquet will be held at the Hellenic Club in Woden (about 400m from the Convention Hotel). Download the Booking Form, or contact banquet@conflux.org.au for details.

LZ 127 Graf Zeppelin was operated by Deutsches Luftschiff Zeppelin commercially from 1928 to 1937. The airship was a passenger carrying hydrogen filled rigid airship. The company named the airship after Count (Graf) Ferdinand von Zeppelin the airship pioneer.

The LZ-127 Graf Zeppelin became the first airship to circumnavigate the world in August 1929. The trip went from Lakehurst (New Jersey), Friedrichshafen (Germany), Tokyo, Los Angeles and return to Lakehurst. Amongst the passengers were Lady Grace Hay Drummond Hay (famous journalist and adventurer), Australian Arctic explorer Sir George Hubert Wilkins and his new bride Suzanne, an American multi-millionaire, two US Navy officers, Newspaper reporters and photographers, and the personal physician of the Spanish King! The flight was sponsored by American press tycoon, William Randolph Hearst, who chose the departure venue at Lakehurst. Dr Hugo Eckener was the captain of this special flight.

Eat, Drink and be merry! The Stock Market Crash isn't due until October!
